Per my 1972 SN employee timetable, the siding at Molena holds 15 cars--not too long, but plenty for the museum's needs. North of Dozier, Saxon held 4 cars and Libfarm held 26. The still-extant siding at Dozier is 22 cars. The remaing line north of Dozier (and two legs of the Dozier wye) were not part of the museum's lease (which ended at the trestle just south of the Highway 113 crossing) at the time; when the UP decided to remove that trackage, the museum didn't find out about it in time to do anything about it. The lease ended at the trestle because the UP didn't want museum trains crossing Highway 113 for liability reasons. However, we regularly crossed the highway and used the wye anyway. Once the wye was gone, we used the Dozier siding to run around the train for the return trip. Still, having the wye remain would have been a boon to operations. Later, there was an unsuccessful attempt to acquire the land that would allow reinstallation of the wye at Creed.
