I'm not gay, not that there's anything wrong with it, but I know and work with a number of gay people and find the attitudes expressed here really offensive because they slam a lot of people I care about.
It is also presumptuous to assume that the images in the first post are of two lesbian mothers. Did it ever occur to you chowderheads that they may be two sisters traveling with the children?
Good grief of all the things to worry about like the economy, our overheated climate, Iran, Afghanistan, public education, energy, and the future of Amtrak, this is what you chose to focus on??? And if Barney Frank is going to be mentioned on Trainorders, it should be for his advocacy of deregulation of the trucking industry because that is a transportation matter and this is a transportation website.
Gay marriage no more undermines traditional marriages than my decision to travel to Colorado for railfanning undermines another fan's enjoyment of railfanning at Cajon Pass.
