Aren't you doing a little bit of broad generalizing here? Are you saying that the LGBT (if you don't know it, look it up) crowd is the ONLY one that's "carrying the torch" for advocating Amtrak's continued funding and success?

And did this employee ever ASK for that group to come to his/her aid? Is he REQUIRED to be supportive of them and all their particular causes?

And just because a high-up and influential Amtrak executive (Eldie Acheson) is big on promoting the causes of gays, does that mean that ALL Amtrak employees must do the same? Is it correct and ethically appropriate on her part to steer Amtrak down this path just because she's a "cheerleader for the 'cause'"?

That might explain why an Inspector General fled the scene in disgust.
