NOW look who's wringing their hands in fear that the sky is falling and it's the end of the Republic. Statistically speaking, gays and lesbians have a much better chance of being shot by a paranoid schitzophrenic (think Aurora, CO and Tucson, AZ) than by a person who doesn't like gays.
Rail content (to keep this thread on topic): Back in the "good old days," if someone wanted to travel by rail from Aurora, CO to Tucson, AZ, perhaps the best routing would been C&S-FW&D-CRI&P-SP, changing between trains at Dalhart, TX.

It's not innocuous and it's not scary. It IS, however, stomach-turning. We're having an agenda forced down our throats that we don't want. We're expected to accept it as "normal", when some of us simply don't (and won't ever) accept it as such. It's inappropriate for a taxpayer-funded organization like Amtrak to be force-feeding us this product/agenda. Period.
You don't see Chik-Fil-A ads depicting a traditional man-woman couple exiting a wedding ceremony, with the patrons showering them with rice, and climbing into a limo carrying bags of Chik-Fil-A take-out. Chik-Fil-A has the common sense not to force-feed us such a message.
If only Amtrak could get a clue and learn something from the common sense of Chik-Fil-A.
