George, you're very correct but remember that LA has built a huge reservoir east and south of Los
Angeles below Winchester (Hemet area) plus not to mention Pyramid Lake built well after the LA
Aqueduct project. In LA water isn't a problem as they drink mostly Coronas which contain their
own water (and lots of it!!). Reno on the other hand hasn't done squat and keeps looking to the
sometimes full and really muddy Honey Lake for water. LA is going to need to do something in the
future (additional) as the court ruling making them quit taking water directly from the Mono
Basin has slowed things up a little.
