Most of you do not reliaze that the city of Tillamook, OR helps run that trains and again
they were under water and a lot of buildings destroyed this last storm. This city doesn't have the money to put the train service back in operations.
The one thing that most of us don't remember is another railroad picks up all their cars in Banks, Oregon and drops off cars headed to Tillamook. So it is not just one railroad that is in trouble.

Hope the state and the feds help get this back in operation as of right now there is only
one two lane road that trucks can use. No trucks to the north or Astoria or south to Lincoln city. If we get more storms in the next two months this road might be closed also. Remember over 3000 lumber cars move east out of Tillamook and along with lots of grain that goes west for all the cows that service Tillamook Cheese.
