In case my point was not clear; the Railroad was re-built in 1996 and the repairs worked, i.e. money well spent. Different areas washed out this time, and there should not even be a discussion of whether or not to fix it. It needs to be fixed sooner than later.

As Aaron pointed out, the State would pay the entire bill to abandon and remove the tracks with no return on that money.
