3985 will need a 15-yearyear inspection this year. The stories about it "needing" this or thatarethat are fabrications fomented by the current manager to cover his disgust at having the locomotive at all.

For example, until the flues are removed and the UT test performed and calculations are run, there is no way for anyone to know what, if anything, it "needs."

Nothing has been done in that direction, except making up new excuses and insinuations and fabrications about the old crew. And all this from a person who flattened 844's drivers and lied about.what he did

that "shop tour video" contains so many fabrications it cannot be watched by any serious, experienced steam people without producing utter disgust.
