The proverbial "knife in the back"....... SMART would rather the NWP not exist, The Silly of NO!vato would rather the trains disappear all together, the bike Nazis and Friends of the Eel River want the whole thing turned into a bike trail from San Rafael to Arcata, and everyone on the board of the NCRA hung from the gallows

A lot of opposition against a tiny railroad. I just hope it survives the next six years or so until SMART can get started and the line rebuilt to Cloverdale.
