As with most things, there is always more to the story.... Check out the link that has two letters, one from the NCRA and one from NWPCo, asking the MTC to disregard the letter from Jake Park.

I am a supporter of both the NWP and SMART, and I say let them work out their differences. They have an operating agreement (that they both signed)that spells out things like who pays for what and how many turnouts SMART will install, etc. It looks like they interpret this agreement differently, but both sides will end up doing what the agreement says. If SMART was trying to get rid of the NWPCo., I don't think they would be providing operating windows during construction, giving NWP used rail to improve the Burdell siding, etc...

Sounds like Jake got taken to the woodshed on this one.
