Been an ongoing issue for a few years now. Just try and get rail cars of grain out west...good luck. BNSF has the worst customer service imaginable. Now they are illegally bunching our cars, dumping more on us than our spur can hold and then walking away with a fat demurrage check each month when they overload us with stored up cars. Sue them over breach of contract....yeah that'll work....a-holes will drop our switch down to 1 a month if we do that. Cars sit in Everett for a week or more before they bother to deliver....when they get to Everett. Truck it? Shows how much you know about grain pricing...... What's interesting, corn price is down on the Chicago Board...but thanks to our wonderful Class I's the basis is still through the roof......net result we are paying more for corn than we should thanks to the basis, you guys are paying more for food than you should.....all thanks to the BNSF.........
