Folks,
Remember a few months ago there was discussion of the constant errors in Morning Sun books, especially the new Southern Pacific Facilities in Color, Vol. 1
Another poster started a web site to list the errors in this and other books.

I'm reading the book right now. I'm only on page 23 and I've find a number of additional errors and omissions.
I hate to keep picking on the author, but I've been reading about trains since I was 10 years old in the 1970s, and haven't even lived in California for 25 years. Yet I know this stuff without even looking it up. He neither knows, not even took the time to check his facts or research additional relevant information.
For Morning Sun's part, I was told that the creator of the web site listed above approached Bob Yanosey about correctons for all the book errors and Yanosey blew him off. I've heard this numerous times. One title had a print problem (pages stuck together) and others have errors and Morning Sun will not listen or care about any of this stuff.
I guess as long as they pump out three books a month and make a profit, quality is of no concern.
I just finished reading two Morning Sun titles by Dave Sweetland (Erie vol. 1 and D&H Vol. 1 and they seem outstanding).
