Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that Morning Sun pays almost nothing to authors (If I recall correctly it was something like $50)..

I've had very mixed experiences with Morning Sun books. Some are awful, but the book on the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range is very well done.
