You aren't the first person who has said that about Omni. Someone else told me that Phil Serpico checks his facts and all his books are accurate. I have a few of his titles, but haven't read them yet.
I bet John Hudson from Depot Square (someone who also has outstanding top-of-the-top quality in his retail book business) doesn't have very many blatant factually errors in his books either.
I have more railroad books in my collection than you can imagine and I could name lots and lots of titles and authors that are just outstanding - many of Signature Press' titles, for example.
At the risk of sounding cocky, off the top of my head (without even having to look it up or consult others, as I would if writing a book), with railroad knowledge I've gained over the years, I find significant factual errors all over the Morning Sun SP Facilities book. Why doesn't this guy have a clue that the "coastal route" didn't go through Martinez, or the difference between the nose of a PA and F-unit for example? Of if he didn't know, it's easy information to find out. I'd be happy to proofread and give suggestions.
