True
Except Hydro can generate as fast as they get the valve to the turbine open and the field windings energized
Geothermal and Nuclear could be placed in "Hot Standby" they just take a chance they would need the extra capacity
Peaker Plants run by large diesel or jet engines that can generate in a few minutes
If there is enough wind and solar that can also add in
Current Battery technology is a very expensive way to store power
