Commercial uses of speeders, or operation by employee's would open up a whole new can of worms.....so I wouldn't have a clue on that.
Although probably most of the air quality stuff I passed on is probably okay, if you are using older equipment. If it's something that is manufactured "new" or with an upgraded engine, that opens new questions, on what, if any, off-road emissions standards may apply.
A few early Uber and Lyft drivers have discovered that commercial use of a vehicle is a different kettle of fish, like when they got into an accident with a "customer" in the "for hire" vehicle they were driving, and suddenly found out that they're not covered for that by their non commercial auto insurance.
Now, as part of this hustle, these "ride hailing" (no longer considered under some state laws as "ridesharing") firms offer some limited commercial insurance coverage. But, if you read carefully, it's limited coverage that let's them off of the hook, if you are ever in a an accident that is over the coverage limits, since you're not an actual "employee" and it's not a vehicle they actually own.
Which is another whole can of worms opened by these so-called "ride hailing" firms who exploit what end up being really very low wage workers (especially after including the real fully allocated mileage cost of depreciation on your car, including unpaid miles "deadheading" to and from pickups and drop offs) to push big stock offerings........
Ah the "freedom" to be your own "boss", to work when "you" want to......as Uber likes to say in its advertising......? Kind of like a being a cooly pulling a rickshaw....?
