The only solution is extending the monorail down Katella Ave over to the train station. With limited stops between. A partnership between Disney and The city. Gets the line off of the ground traffic wise. It works very well in Florida, it can work here. It could be a point to point from the Downtown Disney (old hotel stop) , south on West St, turn east on Katella. Stop At the Convention center, continue on with a stop at Angel stadium, then to the Amtrak station. Point to point with switches to send the trains on separate tracks, like they do in Las Vegas. Add a switch to the existing DL system to send the trains in for servicing in a larger facility built over the DL train round house.

This could be done with a lot less money than a street car, and it would be faster.
