Yep, that's in Dennis the Menace park next to El Estero park in Monterey across from the ROW now the rec trail. THis engine has been there for years and is beloved by all. Contrast that with the thriving metropolis of Salinas which also had a duplicate engine in Central Park and a few years ago decided that it was a horrible menace/liability and moved it down next to the railroad station and the old REA building where the local model rr group has a wonderful layout. They took the engine and a caboose and enclosed them in cyclone fencing and the rr group has renovated them. At the time of the moving of the loco, some wistful city employee opined that it would be just wonderful if they could restore the engine and get it running, to which some of us said "say what?? where are you gonna run it?? UP doesn't allow "foreign" engines on their tracks. I understand UP's reasons, but not many other people did/do.
