So, tell me, all knowing...why is it that it ONLY AFFECTS SPECIFIC MODELS OF AIRCRAFT FROM ONE MANUFACTURER???
Boeing? Doing just fine.
Airbus? Doing just fine.
Bombardier? Didn't publish performance data for over 117 degrees Farenheit. As a result those planes **legally** can't take off.
Those planes will have no problem taking off; the question is what must be done to compensate for the hot temperatures; and since the manufacturer (Bombardier) has not done any type of certification or research, that data is unknown. A pilot, not having the data needed for a safe takeoff, legally can't fly the plane above that temperature.
But, since you clearly know more about the topic than I do, please enlighten us all instead of spouting off garbage.
