Seriously,

Traffic:
With 2 trains per week with five or six cars per train... Can it pay the bills?

Maintenance:
Except for some leads or orivate spurs, where shippers pitch in; The fact that it runs over SMART means NWPCo has to pay probably minimum for a government maintained railroad, but do SMART contractors and Maintenance of Way personnel maintain the Brazos Sub, too?

Insurance and crews are other expenses.
