Very true. It would no doubt be well on the way to becoming scrap metal, along with the rest of the artifacts.
Many years ago, I took an officer from PSRM to see the Great Western "collection" on the east side of McCloud. He was appalled, and said he couldn't understand how the "museum" could justify 501c3 status.
The other day I checked the Oregon Corporate Records. Great Western's corporate registration lapsed in 2004, so it hasn't existed as a legal entity for over ten years. It also does not appear if you check the IRS website for charitable organizations.
