I wish I could find the issue of Trains which dealt with this some thirty years ago showing the
drivers with a rack and sheets covering the drivers to conceal them from the motorcaders. The
unfortunate side of all this is that both sides have a point. Point 1 and to Marty's defense,
these things do cost money to put on and organize and Point 2 to Drew that the issue of proximity
gets pretty shady and if you're not trespassing then not much can be said. It's not much problem
to back up another twenty feet to settle the argument. I know money's tight but I sure would be
in favor of establishing a "chase fund" to help defray some of these special trips especially
since so many of them are as much fun to shoot as they are to ride. Yah, I'm definitely not part
of the current "everything should be free" crowd but in the end, fair's fair.
