I do not intend to play the Devi1's Advocate role you're alluding to, BOB2, but is there sufficient demand for a Sprinter-type DMU service running all day between San Berdoo and Redlands?

I do wish this could've been an extension of the San Bernardino Line and the IEOC Line; I suspect that much of the ridership will be continuing on to Cucamonga, San Gabriel Valley, Downtown LA, and Orange County. Having to change trains in San Bernardino is not ideal.

Also, I wish they were considering making a southward turn around Loma Linda to connect with the UP Sunset Route. Once the open land between the Redlands Line and the Sunset Route is built-up, forget about making this connection.
