Hi Rich, I just checked in Diebert and Strapac's SP Compendium, even with the modernization,
1744 ended up with 33,320 lbs. t.e.
The T & NO M-21 Moguls achieved the higher figure of 45,710 lbs. with a higher boiler
pressure of 250 lbs. and 22" bore cylinders vs. 21" in most others.
