I did, but I'm a little too young to appreciate it. I know that at one time the 844 was renumbered to 8444, I think because of a GP30 that had the #844. I never saw the steamer as 8444 though, I only remember seeing it with that number from the intro and ending credits of Shinning Time Station (ha ha!) I didn't see the diesel number until I got home and uploaded the video, and when I did it made me smile.
