I have a possibly dumb question related to pulling a diesel unit "dead". When a diesel unit is pulled in this condition, without the prime mover running, the traction motors still turn over, right? Seems like that would create a lot of drag, and be sort of like taking an electric drill and turning it's motor over by twisting on the drill bit. I haven't studied diesels much, so I'm probably missing something here.
