How crass. A diesel locomotive failing? How many times have we heard stories about Steam locomotives rescuing diesel locomotives at just the end of steam and how one of the UP steam locomotives, I think it was 844 rescuing a freight train on at least one occasion and it was within the last five years. But hey, it's mechanical. Sooner or later it will fail, but heaven forbid, it should be a steam locomotive.
