I've been pretty candid about the toll the timetables are taking on my time. I frankly don't have the time or desire to contact people individually about their discussion board posts. Even if I did, doing so sends the message that anything is acceptable here until they hear from me.
Furthermore, it makes zero sense -- on a board where anonymity is permitted -- to demand a person's e-mail address or phone number to discuss their internet conduct. Even though I know you OPRRMS and I have your name and e-mail address, imagine if that wasn't true. Why would you post that information for the public to see?

Like I said, this is something I would have to discuss with a lawyer. I wish I could say definitively at this point, but without legal advice I have no idea.
Regardless of that scenario, I'm not interested in selling the discussion board for a price. The software was not written by me, it's open source. We have nearly 46,000 posts here, of which 99.99% were created by others, such as yourself. Accepting money for other people's contributions would be unethical in my opinion.
If the archives can be preserved and the discussion board transferred to another person or entity, no money will be accepted by me whatsoever. I refuse to go that route.
