I'm not trying to be a NIMBY or anything else but I'm curious about how much freight traffic on the highways this project will displace. Can anybody other than the cheerleading proponents quantify that? Given how often the rivers wash out the right of way in this area, does the traffic diversion really justify the marginal and capital cost?
