Charles, I wish I could tell you as to the tower, but I don't know. The water tank, just
to the left of the steamer & out of sight, was pulled down by a cable attached to MB 2-8-2T
1055 in December, 1969, right at the end of steam operation.

Your mention of Nanaimo reminds me of this short ditty...
