Someone really pulled a fast one on the UP when they got permission to do this. They dusted some fresh ballast over the area where the demos were to be held then when the train wobbled out there they realized they would not be able to do the back and forth demo runs they intended. After the demo day ended, the UP came out and removed the switch and paved over the tracks on 183 so no one could sneak out there again.
