well, interesting you saw that in martinez, because today and either yesterday or the day before, there have been like 4 or 5 white amtrak police SUVs or whatever parked next to king street station in seattle. and some of them were "K-9" units. no cops in site, just the vehicles. yes i really counted 4 or 5 all parked there at once.

somehow it doesnt surprise me that there are lots of amtrak police. kinda par for the course in this society no? lots of military, security, guns, cops, wars, surveillance. oh yeah, and hummers. its all connected if you ask me. heh heh.
