If you go into Gilda's they have photos of the last Navy cruiser to visit Santa Cruz, was about 1991 or 1992. Yes, it happened.
Santa Cruz USED to be normal. Now it's just a hangout for pinko commies to smoke their pot, and be anti-capitalistic. Exhibit A, the loss of business on the Santa Cruz Branch. Part of the quarry property at Davenport has been sold to a land trust. So no cement is ever coming out of there again.
Anyone who thinks the county or city government has your best interest at heart is a fool.
