I must confess that I forgot about the incidences on 680. The events I was recalled were on 580 in Richmond and 101 South I believe in the San Mateo area. I can't recall if they were classifed as copy cat crimes to each other or the 680 shootings were. Or for that matter in which sucession they were. I do know that folks traveling from the South bay to the North bay were extremely concerned as they are the main corridors which one would use. Tough to find a flack jacket and a steel helmut for a six year old in those days.
