I completely understand where you're coming from. Working for the RR, I have one of those good paying, middle class, blue collar jobs. That being said, you didn't answer my question at all. I know it's not the same as a factory, but the rebuilding of the Pearl has created hundreds of jobs (a lot more during construction) and hundreds of thousands of dollars for the city. To me that is better than a vacant lot waiting endlessly for an industrial tenant..
