Amtrak is the problem, not subsidies

Whenever this topic rears its ugly head, nobody points out the obvious. How horribly Amtrak is managed and how inefficient Amtrak is in every way imaginable. Just ask anybody who works there. Diversity and affirmative action are the top priorities at Amtrak. Providing a reliable form of transportation ranks about #352 on their list.

So it doesn't matter if the subsidy is one dollar or $5 trillion, Amtrak is sure to disappoint.
