How does ANYBODY with a trucker's license not already know this? It wasn't some FRA exempt spur he crossed. That was clearly a heavily used mainline. Some truckers are better than others, obviously, but pulling ONTO tracks KNOWING you can't clear the tracks for the time being, while having that many people in/on your trailer is beyond anything I've ever known a trucker to do. This is by far, the most egregious example of negligence displayed by a driver of a tractor-trailer I've ever known.
We all thought it would be impossible to top the gravel truck/Amtrak collision on US 95 in western Nevada from a year and a half ago...
