There were 4 GP-38s, 30-33. Two (Reading Seashore Lines?) had dual control stands which made walking through them like entering a maze. One of them, and I think it was 32, had an encounter with a truck and received a replacement cab. Somewhere I have a slide of it, could have been from a Rock Island engine. Also, 32 had a governor that did not work well and the engine hunted up and down. It was eerie to listen to and that's why she got the name "Mona".

31 had a Swedish Chime for a long time and 30 had a K5L loaned by me for a couple of years.

EUKA had some really bad track and some sections like just south or rr west of Island Mountain were like riding on spongy balsa wood. 10 mile an hour there meant around 6-7 while some of it was good for 20.
