Hmm. Where to start... By "whats left of our forests" I presume you mean the publicly managed lands? The privately owned forest isn't yours anymore than your neighbors house is yours. There is so little fiber coming off government land that it isn't much of a factor in the market. Unless you were one of the "timber" companies that dumped all your land holdings and now have to compete for the very limited amount of timber available at auction. As to the "fence posts, etc" I assume you don't use toilet paper, or read anything that isn't conveyed via electronic media?
