BOB2--- Regarding Engr Robert Sanchez that you mention in your comments:
He had befriended several "teen railfans" and vice-versa. Texting messages back and forth is probable cause of accident. The teens are quoted that they "loved him" . They were fascinated by his job.
They all got together and created a "memorial video" to Sanchez. One of his teen railfan friends was 'Mark Speer'. About two months ago, Mark drove from LA to WA state to visit MRSR at Elbe. He stopped over at the TNW Train Show at Freighthouse Square in Tacoma, WA.
I was selling railroadiana and he stopped by my table and I had a chance to meet him.
When I asked about Sanchez, he just smiled and went on to other subjects !
