God forbid that I may have used such supposedly "emotional" language to express my view that putting the safety of my crew or passengers ahead of "getting along" with unsafe crew members is the choice I chose to make in these situations.

You may well care more about getting along with your fellow crew members, whereas, I probably cared more about being respected by my fellow crewmembers, and bringing them home safely. I don't happen think it is a mutually exclusive choice, though.

It's a hard choice you have to make sometimes....when circumstances call on you to "man up", and do the right thing.

And, thanks to some of the rest of you with years of service, for pointing that out.
