The current plan and the current management will have to work thru their "vision" of SMART before any other "theory", mine or others', would get any consideration.

To move forward first thing is realizing Larkspur is not a terminal, just a stop. The real terminal, and hopefully only temporary, is Marin City. To achieve the latter one must upgrade to electric light rail, capable of handling ramps, flyovers, tunnels, etc.

A long time in the making. It is going to take a few years just to get GGT to take over SMART.

Probably too long as meanwhile BART Vader plots to colonize Geary and then Imperial broad gauge across the Bridge and then...
