The elevation difference between the new station and the ferry terminal makes possible an elevated loop that would runaround the outside of the parking lot. The GGBD bought the property for this connection at least 25 years ago. The trains would stop right at the ferry terminal entrance with a escalator taking you directly to the gang plank. The other idea would be to build a terminal on the east downstream section of Black Point bridge. The ferry's could dock alongside and passengers could transfer directly from train to ferry. High speed ferry's would not have the current speed restrictions (because of wave action) like they do in the channel leading up to Larkspur.
