Larkspur Landing Bought for Ferry-Train Connection

It's a fascinating thought when you consider it. But I wonder it if it's absolutely true. Would love to see some documentation because I do know some people had a plan for this but it was not bridge district politicos, but railfans. That's why I think this.

In my opinion a ramp running on the street would be prefereable to an elevated line which is too expensive.
