DCA that is the trackage I'm talking about.
When you cross the BNSF main on Hwy 510 going towards Lacey, you can see where it merges with the main line and it has double track that crosses under Hwy 510 just before you get to Old Pacific Hiway and Hwy 510.
I've seen the crossing at Marvin Road too, and I thought I read that Tacoma Rail was keeping that business even though they gave up the Oly Turn that served Tumwater / Pepsi, et all and the Port of Olympia.
I was told that trackage was originally UP? and that it ran thru Lacey and connected down near DT Olympia. My GPS unit still shows the tracks running all the way thru Lacey.
Anyone know where I could find some old photos or history of that trackage?
I have seen long strings of grain cars and Oil tankers on the TR trackage along Hwy 507 into Roy, but that is all clear now.
Some container flats are stored on the old Milwaukee Track in Rainier, you can see them on either side of the railroad bridge you cross under coming into Rainier. WWR has that area evidently, I've seen their name/phone number on some of the crossings.
Thanks for all the info from you guys, appreciate it!
