The second train- that is between sloBIspo and San Jose- then SF instead of Emeryville, is probably dead, or at least mostly dead.
Amtrak did add a LAUPT-BI train that provides a midday turn at BI.
Hopeful folks back then got it numbered 799/798.
Folks who don't see the significance of the numbers must do some homework.
But a few or five years ago those were renumbered -799 is now 1761 I think.
Me? I'd like to see a MedFlyer back, although SLO times would be painful
