When did I say or you "hear" "voices" saying that I am talking about HSR on the Coast? And, where exactly did I say, or even imply, that I don't believe that global warming is real, or that resultant sea level rise isn't real? That's total bull$hit.
So your only intellectual defense of the nonsense you've been spouting is to misrepresent what I have said?
Could sea level rise cause disruption of the Coast line someday? Yes, but not like it's going to wreck Florida, or the Gulf Coast, within the next 100 years (with up to 2 metres of sea level rise). Will it threaten the Coast line? Maybe someday, in about 200 years (when we get to about 3-4 meters of sea level rise). But, of course, if we haven't dealt with it by the time that finally occurs, we're probably already going to be pretty screwed as a species.
In any case, none of your replies are responsive to the arguments I've made on the Coast line 101 travel needs from a technical perspective.
Once again, your woeful reply is the same kind of complete nonsense, complete with same irrelevant technical arguments, only now you've added a misrepresentation about my views on global warming. It's the kind of self serving justifications that I've come to expect, from the political flunkies who put pandering to politicians, ahead of sound, skeptical, and thoughtful professional analysis, to promote their so-called "planning" careers.
I am quite happy to say that I left many of your type of BS spouting bureaucrats and pandering politicians hating me for that honesty, when I retired. Real professionalism and personal integrity sometimes means that one may be called upon to speak truth to power.
Frankly, I really expected better from you.
