Golly George when do you think they'll get the tracks across the street to the ferry terminal? That's not even on the menu at the moment and pretty soon they will be building a station on the right of way that will cost 3 or 4 millions. Not that I disagree with you--the train-ferry connection would be best if it was immediate in all ways. Train runs to ferry terminal. Ferry leaves the instant the train has unloaded.

But I don't think that will happen. One reason, you have local NIMBY commuters who would scream and cry about the train eating up parking spaces for those that use cars to get to the terminal. It's true the train station would probably take up much more parking spaces than it would be delivering riders to the train.

Thanks for discussing. You're much more interesting than that guy Mook. He responds to posts about SMART by saying "Get a life!" or "Who cares really?" Well to the question: I would say anyone commuting by ferry probably cares quite a good deal, sir!
