The UP had a branch from Riverside JCT to Crestmore down past Fairmont Park. I remember when the UP brought the UP 6051 (?) to the park for display. The UP paralleled the SP for about a mile before they split. SP to Corona and UP to Crestmore.
Someone told me years ago the the short route between Rana and San Berdoo was owned by UP. UP had a small engine facility at the West end of the Santa Fe "A" yard. UP/SF set outs were made at the yard office next to the Mt Vernon bridge. UP also interchanged with the SP near Colton Tower. UP also interchanged with SP at Riverside JCT.
