As has been mentioned the wire came down in 1943 on the Arrowhead Springs line, which of course
makes little sense since this was wartime and diesel was at a premium plus most of the rest of
local system stayed under wire. There also was a quarry operation on this line which lasted until
the late twenties, it's too bad there weren't more shots taken especially under wire. Unlike the
SP as a whole PE branches seemed to last well beyond their use ie the San Antonio Heights branch,
the Arrowhead Springs branch which lasted into the early sixties, and there were many others.
